CarAid AI Account and Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of a CarAid AI account and the personal data associated with it. CarAid AI is developed by MidiSG.
How to request deletion
You can delete a registered account directly in the CarAid AI app by opening More → Settings → Delete account and confirming the request. You can also request deletion outside the app:
- Send an email to midisoft.game@gmail.com with the subject CarAid AI account deletion request.
- Include the phone number associated with your CarAid AI account, including the country code. If you use guest mode, state that you want the guest account and its cloud data deleted.
- We may ask you to confirm account ownership before processing the request. Never send us your password, payment card details, or SMS verification code.
Subscription notice: deleting your CarAid AI account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription in your store account to prevent future renewals.
Data that will be deleted
After verification, we will delete the account and associated cloud data that is not required to be retained, including:
- Account profile and authentication association.
- Garage and vehicle information.
- Diagnostic, OBD2, FAQ, and question history.
- Weekly checkups, expenses, and vehicle status data.
- Notification history and registered notification tokens.
- Saved app records and preferences associated with the account.
Data stored only on your device can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Data that may be retained
- Trial abuse-prevention record: a pseudonymous identifier derived from the verified phone number, trial eligibility dates and status, whether a subscription was previously activated, and limited trial-notification timestamps. The readable phone number and Firebase user identifier are not retained in this trial record after account deletion. This record is retained while the one-time trial program operates and for as long as reasonably necessary to prevent repeated promotional access and investigate abuse.
- Store transaction identifiers, purchase validation records, and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years where required by law, platform rules, fraud prevention, or financial recordkeeping obligations. Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google and are not stored by CarAid AI.
- Security, abuse-prevention, and system logs may be retained for up to 180 days unless a longer period is required to investigate fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
- Anonymous or aggregated information that can no longer identify or be linked to you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
Processing time
Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. If residual copies exist in protected backups, they will be removed through the regular backup lifecycle within 90 days and will not be used for normal product operations.
Partial data deletion
Registered users can delete supported garage and diagnostic history data from the CarAid AI settings without deleting the entire account. For other partial deletion requests, contact us using the email above and describe the data you want removed.
